As a COO working with C-suites and founders on scale-to-exit strategy, I value spaces where senior leaders can think clearly, challenge assumptions and leave with something practical.

Rachel‘s Senior Leaders Peer Support Forum did exactly that. I generated two brand new ideas that I immediately built into my growth strategy. The quality of thinking, questioning and challenge in the room helped me see new possibilities – and turn them into practical action.

Most senior leadership conversations don’t create space to think. This one does.

Leadership can be isolating.
Even in well-resourced organisations, there are few places where Senior Leaders can think openly with true peers, outside hierarchy, politics, and expectation.
Not because they lack capability. But because they lack space. Without that space, the quality of thinking suffers. And poor-quality thinking is one of the most expensive things in organisations.

“Firstly, I just want to say how impressed I am with the Forum. It’s genuinely one of the best-structured groups I’ve come across, and that’s clearly down to the way you lead it. The quality of conversation, the people you bring together, and the overall feel of it really stand out.”

The Forum

The Senior Leaders Peer Support Forum brings together a small group of leaders from across sectors in a confidential, facilitated setting. It is intentionally limited in size. It is carefully held. It is designed for depth, not volume.
This is not networking. It is not a general discussion group. It is a space where thinking improves, and where issues move.

Being part of the Senior Leaders Forum with Rachel has been a genuinely valuable experience—both professionally and personally. She has a real gift for creating space where senior leaders can step back, reflect, and have honest, thoughtful conversations.

Rachel brings the right mix of strategic thinking and emotional intelligence. Each session feels purposeful, relevant, and grounded in the real challenges we face. It’s not just talk—it’s practical, meaningful, and it sticks.

How It Works

Each session is structured to support high-quality thinking. Participants bring a live issue, challenge, or opportunity.
Through a disciplined process:
thinking slows down enough to become clear
assumptions are surfaced
perspectives widen
options become visible
The group contributes insight and experience, without hierarchy or agenda.
The result is not advice. It is better thinking, and therefore better decisions.

What Leaders Bring

The issues are rarely simple. They may involve strategic decisions, leadership dynamics, or something that has remained unresolved for longer than it should. Sometimes the issue is operational, sometimes it is more personal. In both cases, the aim is the same: to move forward with clarity.
The Forum also benefits from a thoughtful mix of returning members and new voices. Continuity allows trust to build over time, while fresh perspectives continue to enter the room. Different sectors, backgrounds and experiences bring different windows into the world, often exactly what helps a leader see an issue differently.

Why It Works

Thinking improves in the right conditions. Most meetings unintentionally disrupt those conditions. This Forum restores them.
Attention is protected
Interruption is removed
Independence of thought is preserved
Diverse perspectives are introduced without pressure
Operating under Chatham House Rules, the space is confidential and high-trust. This is what allows leaders to see clearly, often for the first time in a while.

I love Rachel’s calm assessment of business challenges and her ability to get under the skin of the problem. Her group sessions (with Chatham House Rules of course) are excellent for understanding what you don’t know about business and, of course, about your own business in particular.

I would highly recommend her approach, style, and ability to get to the root of a business problem.”

The Impact

Leaders often describe a shift. Issues that had been static begin to move. Decisions become clearer. Time is used more effectively, and the courage to act increases.
Participants report outcomes such as ‘a higher number of fruitful follow-on conversations; emerging new partnerships; commercial possibilities, and valuable change of strategic direction.’

“The benefit of genuine peer insight and experience was clear… inspirational, thought-provoking and confidential.

If you get the opportunity and are interested reach out to Rachel to hear of future sessions in Manchester and London.

It will help you grow and flourish as a person and a leader.

Locations

The Forum runs in both Manchester and London. The core experience is the same: a small, confidential group of senior leaders, coming together to think clearly and move forward on what matters most. What differs is the rhythm and shape of the session.

MANCHESTER

Monthly sessions in central Manchester, excluding August and December. A consistent group, meeting regularly, allowing trust to develop and issues to move forward with momentum.

Sessions run from 12:00 to 14:00, with discussion and lunch integrated into a focused, two-hour format. A good sandwich and salad lunch is provided, followed by barista coffee.
This is an invite-only session for senior leaders across sectors, limited to 10 leaders, at King Street Townhouse Hotel.

LONDON

Sessions are held every two months in central London, in a longer, more spacious format. The session begins with dedicated time for deep thinking and exploration, followed by lunch.
This creates a more deliberate pause from the day-to-day, a chance to step back, reflect, and return with renewed clarity. An invite-only, high-trust space for senior leaders across sectors.

The Senior Leaders Peer Support Forum was such a valuable use of my time. Rachel’s skilled curation of the “Mastermind-style” session is deliberately focused to ensure that everyone invited in the room can participate.

We can often be tempted to jump straight into a problem scenario and try to “fix” it, however, Rachel encourages questions first and suggestions last, meaning we were able to get to the heart of the situation focusing us all on listening to understand first rather than to respond.

I left feeling like I’d been part of a genuine discussion which enriched my own thinking and was a couple of hours well spent!
