Coaching

Senior leaders don’t lack ideas. They lack the space to think clearly enough to move.

Leadership can be isolating. When responsibility is carried alone, blind spots form. Not through lack of ability. Through lack of space for clear, uninterrupted thought.
This work creates that space. Deliberately and consistently.
A disciplined environment where you can step back from the noise, think independently, and see more clearly what is really going on, so you can move forward with clarity, pace and impact.
This is not advice-led coaching.
It is a structured approach to enabling high-quality thinking, especially where the stakes are high, the context is complex and the answers are not immediately visible.

Leadership and Executive Coaching

Through focused, high-quality thinking conversations, you gain the clarity to move forward on what matters most.
The difference this makes:
Clear, confident decisions on complex issues
Direction where things feel stuck or unclear
Alignment between your role, your values, and how you lead
The ability to handle pressure without losing clarity

Typical areas we work on

What you might bring:
A leadership challenge that has been circling for too long
A decision you need to make but haven’t fully seen yet
How to lead a team, organisation, or change more effectively
Stepping into a bigger role or reshaping your current one
How to use your experience, strengths, and judgement more fully
A deeper question about your purpose and the legacy you want to leave

We draw on your experience, your successes, patterns and lessons, to identify the most effective way forward.

What’s it like to work together

Each session is a protected space for your thinking.
There is no agenda imposed, no advice given, and no pressure to arrive with a fully formed answer.
Instead, Rachel listens with precision, asks incisive questions, and creates the conditions for you to think independently—often more clearly than you’ve been able to elsewhere.

Rachel brings experience of working with leaders in complex, global environments, where clarity, judgement, and pace matter.

In a session

You bring what matters most, whether it’s a decision, a leadership challenge, a complex situation, or something that isn’t yet fully clear.
This could be navigating change, handling complexity, working through difficult relationships at a senior or board level, or preparing for key conversations and decisions.
This may also include adapting to new roles, cultures, or geographies, drawing on Rachel’s own experience of living and working internationally.
You might also bring a specific piece of work, something you need to think through, shape, or make progress on. This could be preparing for a board presentation, structuring an important conversation, or working through how to influence others effectively.
Through careful attention and structured questioning, your thinking begins to unfold. Assumptions become visible. Patterns emerge. New possibilities open up.
At the same time, progress is made on the things that matter in the near term—what’s coming up next week or next month—so that you leave feeling clearer, more prepared, and more confident in how you approach them.
Silence is used deliberately, where appropriate, creating the space for deeper thinking rather than rushing to answers.

You are not guided to an answer.

You arrive at one.

The role Rachel plays

Rachel does not advise, fix, or direct.
Her role is to hold the space, maintain the quality of attention, and enable your thinking to go further than it would alone.
She will also challenge you—thoughtfully and by agreement—checking what level of stretch is useful, so that the work remains both supportive and rigorous.
Where helpful, and by agreement, she may also offer perspective or share experience, always in service of your thinking, not instead of it.
The work may also draw on your strengths—what you naturally do well and where you get your energy—helping you lead in a way that is both effective and sustainable.
This is what makes the work both challenging and powerful.

What you leave with

Clients regularly leave sessions with:
greater clarity on what matters
decisions that feel considered and grounded
a clearer sense of direction
and the confidence to act
Many clients find that the quality of their thinking shifts quickly—and continues to build over time.

“I highly value having Rachel as a thinking partner. Her attentive listening and presence support me to find new depths of understanding of myself and my situation, from which I find clarity and a way forward. Her approach is highly supportive, whilst also respectfully challenging assumptions and behaviour patterns as needed.”
